Local RBL branch celebrates second consecutive county award
The Royal British Legion Leighton Buzzard Branch is celebrating being awarded the prestigious Douglas Greening Trophy for the second year running.

The trophy is presented annually to a large branch, with over 50 members, that demonstrates exceptional efficiency and impact over a 12-month period. Judging is based on the breadth and success of activities, community engagement, and fundraising efforts delivered throughout the year.
Retaining the title for a second consecutive year is a significant accomplishment, reflecting the continued dedication, organisation and community spirit of everyone involved in the Branch.
To mark the occasion, members of both the Branch and Club came together in celebration, culminating in the erection of a new flag at the Club building - a visible symbol of pride in their shared achievement.
The award highlights not only the strength of the Branch’s internal organisation, but also its ongoing commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community and engaging the wider public in remembrance and fundraising activities.
