David Wilson Homes officially opened its Leestone Park development, located at the northern end of Leighton Buzzard, welcoming visitors from across the local area.

The development will feature a mix of two- to five-bedroom homes, with the opening event giving visitors their first opportunity to explore the newly completed show homes.

The launch attracted interest from local residents, including families looking for larger properties, first-time buyers and people considering relocating from nearby Luton.

Marc Woolfe, Director of Sales and Marketing at Barratt David Wilson North Thames, said: “It has been hugely exciting to launch Leestone Park as we continue to deliver new homes in Leighton Buzzard.

“Welcoming more than 100 visitors on the opening day was a fantastic start, and it was great to meet prospective buyers face to face as they got to see the quality of our homes up close for the first time.”

The new development follows David Wilson Homes’ nearby Clipstone Park scheme, which has also contributed to the town’s growing housing provision.

Site Manager Marian Istrate, who previously worked at Clipstone Park, has now moved to Leestone Park to oversee construction.

Marian has received three NHBC Pride in the Job Awards, as well as a Seal of Excellence Award, recognising his work in housebuilding and construction management.

The 60-home development forms part of ongoing residential growth in Leighton Buzzard, as new housing continues to be delivered in and around the town.
