Radio 1 star Charlie Hedges to DJ at Fitness Weekender in Central Bedfordshire

Radio 1 DJ Charlie Hedges is set to star when the Everyone Active Fitness Weekender comes to Central Bedfordshire from Friday, June 26 to Sunday, June 28.

Best known for hosting Dance Anthems, Charlie will play sets at Flitwick Leisure Centre and Saxon Pool and Leisure Centre, both run by award-winning operator Everyone Active on behalf of Central Bedfordshire Council.

Flitwick is first up on Friday, June 26, where Charlie will provide music for body conditioning (5.30pm-6.30pm and 8pm-9pm) and HIIT (6.45pm-7.45pm).

Then on Saturday, she will head to Saxon and DJ circuits (9.15am-10am), bodyweight HIIT (10.15am-11am) and barbell conditioning (11.15am-12 noon).

As part of the launch of the brand-new Leighton Leisure and Community Centre that same day, 11-year-old DJ Steady will play a morning set in the 150-station gym from 9.15am-1.15pm.

A finalist in Mix Master 2024 and the youngest DJ ever to play Ibiza, DJ Steady has been widely tipped as a future star of the music industry.

The Dunstable Centre will also be involved with social swimming on Sunday, June 28 set to be accompanied by a live jazz band between 3pm-3.45pm and 4pm-4.45pm.
