On Saturday the Peppermint Store are back with their regular slot and this time presenting Sean Grant & The Wolfgang.

Sean Grant & The Wolfgang play folk rock with an alternative twist and what has been described as no nonsense lyrics. Sean is the song writer and front man with a seemingly Orwellian bias to realism with songs about the real lives of everyday people.

Admission is free and bands are on from 9.30pm both evenings.

People can also take a trip back to the swinging sixties at the Royal British Legion in Thrift Road, Heath & Reach on Saturday when the venue feature The Mersey Legends. This first class tribute band has it’s roots in the 60’s, when guitarist Yanni first performed with his band The Seftons at the world famous Cavern Club in Liverpool. There will be songs from The Searchers, Gerry & The Pacemakers, The Swinging Blue Jeans and of course The Beatles. Tickets are available by calling Steve on 01525 237923.
