Ex-Hatter Harford set to become Kinnear’s assistant at Newcastle?

Luton legend Mick Harford is reportedly set to return to Newcastle United as Joe Kinnear’s assistant.

He played 19 times for Newcastle in 1981, scoring four goals.

Ex-Town boss Kinnear recently returned to the Magpies as director of football and is in talks to bring Harford in as his assistant.

Harford, 54, who is a former Luton player, coach, manager and director of football, is currently first-team coach at Millwall, but has worked closely Kinnear throughout his career.
